These poems contain the essence of who I am and hint at the past from which I came. These poems and the reason for writing them are not unlike any other poet’s. The difference comes from where I came from: the city, street, parents, grandparents, family and friends. I hope you enjoy reading and contemplating these poems as much as I did writing them.
